A StumbleUpon revival. One button drops you on a random forgotten corner of the web, from a hand-built list of 20,598 URLs across 10,881 hosts. Heavy on textfiles.com, Newgrounds, Geocities mirrors and net-art; roughly a quarter are Internet Archive snapshots rather than live sites. Made by the vaporwave label Vapor95, whose blog posts account for 244 of the entries. Favicons are fetched through Google, so each site you land on is a hostname sent their way.
HEADS UP: some of these sites are dead, half-dead, abandoned, or haunted. Everything here was picked by hand, by a human, with a mouse — no crawler, no algorithm, no quality assurance department. If a link rots, that's just the web breathing. We are not even slightly sorry.
